Activity field when mail merged with a masked lead field

Hi Team,

We have observed a behaviour when a masked field is being mail merged using a dynamic form to an unmasked field, the value being mail merged is "xxxxx" and not the actual value.

Example:

Lets say we have a Lead field called "Track_ID" which is masked for all the users. We also have a activity field with the same name "Track_ID", but user have access to this field.

In the dynamic form submission, with help of rules we make the Activity field "Track_ID" as read only. Then mail merge the Lead field "Track_ID" with Activity field "Track_ID".

When a sales user try to submit the form, it will mail merge "xxxx" as user does not have access to the Lead field.

However, for admin user the value should reflect correctly. 

But in the admin account also it will show as xxxx rather than the actual value.

This is reproducible in all account and the release for the same is planned for January 2024 tentatively.
