Discrepancy in spam rates in LSQ and any Email Analytics Platform

If the spam rate shown in Google Postmaster / SNDS / Yahoo Postmaster and that shown in the Email Campaign report differs, check the following -
  1. Source of emails - Whether emails are only triggered from LSQ or from other platforms also.
  2. The domain of the recipients - Google Postmaster only shows data for Gmail domain recipients, SNDS shows data only for Outlook and Hotmail domain recipients and similarly Yahoo Postmaster shows data only for Yahoo domain recipients.
It should also be informed to the customer that the individual spam reports are not informed by Gmail, but upon exceeding a certain limit, the aggregate data is shared with the ESP. Meanwhile, Yahoo only shares a small percentage of data on user-reported spam emails.
