Incorrect First Name Sent in the Email

Issue Summary:
1. Customer has created one template, in that template he mail merged first name field.

2. Customer has sent emails in bulk.

3. After sending the email, we observed that all the leads system has updated the same " first name " dynamic value for all the leads in the sent email.



Root Cause:

This is a product behavior - when we add cc with multiple to emails mail merge works only for first leads as mentioned in the alert message.


Solution:


When sending bulk emails with a template that includes a mail-merged first name, it’s important not to add anyone in the "CC" field. This is because adding recipients to the CC can expose their email addresses to each other, which may compromise privacy. Additionally, when using a mail-merge for personalization, showing multiple recipients in the CC field could reveal that the email was sent in bulk, which may affect how your message is perceived.
