LEADS RE-ASSIGNMENT ON USER DEACTIVATION

Issue : If a user has been deactivated, and the customer wants to retrieve all of the leads that were assigned to that user. However, this is not possible as in when user is marked as deactivate, we will not be able to apply any filter on manage leads or in any advance search condition with respective user as owner {As the user will not be visible in owner dropdown list}.

Solution : In the advanced configuration settings, there is an option called "Configure User Deactivation Rules" where we can add addition level of check before user deactivation. For example, the user cannot be deactivated if they have any associated leads or if there are open opportunities linked to the user. After configuring these rules, if we attempt to deactivate a user who still has open leads, an error message will be displayed indicating that the user is associated with a certain number of leads. To proceed with deactivation, we must first reassign these leads to a different owner.
