Managing URL Expiration for Portal Access

Scenarios

1. Expired Short URL
Issue: When a short URL has expired, users may encounter a "Not a valid URL" message.
Solution: Users can resolve this issue by retriggering or regenerating the short URL to obtain a new, valid link.



2. Expired Long URL with Active Short URL
Issue: If the long URL has expired but the short URL remains valid, users will be redirected to the login page instead of the intended student dashboard.
Solution: To fix this, increase the expiration time of the long URL and then regenerate or retrigger the short URL to ensure seamless access to the student dashboard.
