Exporting Leads – Expected Behavior

When exporting leads from the Manage Leads page:

  • Selecting individual leads manually (e.g., by checking the boxes) and then using the Export option under Actions will export all leads, not just the selected ones, the all leads present in the system will be exported. This is the intended system behavior.

  • To export a specific subset of leads, use the Advanced Search to apply filters. Once the desired data is filtered, the Export option will export only the filtered leads.

  • The catch here is: If an advanced search filter is applied and the resulting data is then manually selected, only the entire dataset will be exported — not just the selected records. To export only the filtered data, no manual selection should be made; the system will automatically export all the filtered records.
